Alfred W. Breeden, age 88, of Palestine passed away on December 15, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1929, in Kentucky to Ezra Breeden and Callie Leming Breeden. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a longtime resident and car dealer of Palestine.
Mr. Breeden was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Christene ( Vicky) Breeden and daughter Sharon Garr.
Mr. Breeden is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law. Sandra and Sonny Carpenter of Palestine, John Garr of Whitehouse, Sonya and Robert Hoch of Grapeland and Sheryl and Scott Cole of Highland Village. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Alfred Breeden will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Strong Memorial Cemetery in Slocum. Funeral arrangements for Mr. Breeden are in care of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
