Amanda Beth Rutledge Corson, age 40, of Palestine passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017. "Mandy" was born on January 10, 1977, in Palestine, Texas to Jerry Richard Rutledge and Nora Fuller Roscoe. Mandy grew up in Elkhart and enjoyed playing softball and other activities. She attended high school in Dallas and later moved back home to Palestine and started her family. She had several different jobs in the area and was a hard worker.
Mandy was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Richard Rutledge and her step dad, John Roscoe. She is survived by her three sons, Jimmy Dalton Whitehurst, Ronald Corson III, and Ethan Corson all of Palestine; mother, Nora Fuller Roscoe of Palestine; sisters Katheryn Rutledge and Robyn Roscoe of Dallas; brothers Richard Rutledge of Elkhart, and Coby Roscoe of San Diego, California; husband Ronald Corson II; in-laws Ron and Sherry Corson; sisters-in-law Jennie and Anetia Corson all of Palestine; and Hallie Corson Harker of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to remember the life of Amanda Beth Rutledge Corson will be at 10:00 am, July 1, 2017, at Palestine Church of the Nazarene, 1850 highway 84 east in Palestine, Texas.
