Ann Craft Elliott, 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on Friday, December 22, 2017. Ann was born in Celeste, Texas on July 6, 1925 to John Anderson Craft and Reta Ellard Craft. On February 11, 1945 Ann married Paul E. Elliott, Jr. and they celebrated life together for the next 63 years. She truly enjoyed life to the fullest, surrounded by good friends and family, for her full 92 years. Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul E. Elliott, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Betty and her husband Tommy Daniels of Longview, TX, her children, John Ronald (Ronnie) Elliott and his wife Helen of Palestine, TX and Deborah K. Elliott of Wimberley, TX, as well as her grandchildren, Helen Elliott of Austin, TX, and Langdon Elliott and his wife Tiffany of Palestine, TX. Ann had a deep love of God's creation and every creature within. She loved traveling and she and Paul logged countless miles with their RV in Canada, throughout the US, and Mexico. The last year of her life was happy and full thanks to her "boyfriend", Harold Dietz.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Philips Episcopal Church with The Reverend Ted Welty officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Park Cemetery under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Condolence calls will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ed Johnston, Harry Brown, Paul Morris, Gary Seat, Langdon Elliott, and Leo Mizell. Honorary pallbearers are Don Haynes and Frank George, Sr.
