Services for Billie Vineyard Calame age 80, of Palestine will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Rev. Justin Bachman officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Calame died Wednesday at Cartmell Home for Aged. She was born October 2, 1936 in Anderson County to Wesley Clinton Vineyard and Bessie Beatrice Rogers Vineyard. Mrs. Calame was a machine operator and was employed by the garment factory.
Mrs. Calame was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Calame, grandsons, Brandon Paul Lee and Franklin Casey Light and a brother Floyd Vineyard. She is survived by her daughters, Ann and Philip Lee and Martha Light, sons Jessie & Susan Light, Earnest and Ramona Light, and George and Quhana Light, brothers, Foy Vineyard, Robert H. Vineyard and wife Bonnie, step children Lynn Rodriquez, Cecille Fondran, Dianne Calame, Billie Gail Norman and John & Fran Calame eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, Pallbearers will be Jessie Light, George Light, Robert Vineyard, Philip Lee, John Calame, Chris Vineyard. Honorary pallbearers will be, Earnest Light, Alex Calame, and Foy Vineyard.
Condolence calls will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, or Heart to Heart Hospice.
