Bobby Glenn Garner passed away June 23, 2017, at the age of 79.
He was born May 13, 1938 in Frankston, Texas to Pete Garner and Winnie Praytor Garner.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Linda Elliott Garner; sons, Michael Garner and Nathan Garner; daughters, Melissa Garner Nelson (husband Dave) and Bobbi Garner; stepsons, Scott Elliott (wife Patty) and Keith Elliott (wife Cindy); grandchildren, Brittany Paige Garner, Deborah Elliott, and Roxanne Elliott; siblings, Kenneth Garner, Wayne Garner, Davis Garner, Willis Garner, Pauline Garner Dicky Cunningham, Aline Garner Huddleston, and Opal Garner Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby served in the United States Air Force and was a Master Machinist by trade before his retirement from Philadelphia Gear.
He has always been known for his hard work, sense of humor, and his caring personality. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing, socializing with friends and family, barbecuing on the grill, and traveling in his earlier years.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
