Brandy Denise Mosley, 35, of Palestine, Texas, was born on November 7, 1981, in Grapeland, Texas, and passed away on June 13, 2017, in Galveston, Texas. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Brandy was a remarkable business owner who created a place of bliss in her little hometown of Palestine. B's Hive of Therapy Day Spa & Salon was a dream of hers that God put into place. A conversation that Brandy and an employee, Amanda, had one day shows that Brandy was a woman of God.
Amanda: "Do you ever look around and think that we're all here, and all of this is happening, because of you?" Brandy: "I've never really thought about it." Amanda: "Well, it just hit me as I was sitting at the desk, already on the phone, with someone calling on the other line. Everyone had clients coming and going. There is just so much going on, and it's all because of you." Brandy replied, "After we had a moment, I realized that I don't think of it that way because I'm really not the foundation of B's Hive. God is and always has been. You have to know from where your blessings flow. The spa is one of the biggest parts of my testimony and walk with Him. I don't think of it as 'my spa' any more than those who work here. He took over from the very beginning. All of the growth and success is because of Him. I just work here."
Brandy stood confident in who God created her to be. God worked through Brandy to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She brought God's love, light, and hope into every life she touched.
Brandy was preceded in death by her uncle, Keith Vest; her sister, Vanessa Melson; and her grandparents, Cecil and Winnie Melson.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Mosley; children, Toran and Peyton Mosley; mother, Debra Vest Melson; father, Jeff Melson; sister, Magan Melson; grandmother, Sissy Rightmire; grandfather, Roy Vest; and her nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services and a Celebration of Brandy Mosley's Life will be held at 10 A.M. at Evangelistic Temple on Saturday, June 24, 2017, with Pastor Jason Harris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
