Carol Ann Parker Henderson,70, of Fort Worth, Texas and formerly of Elkhart, went to be with Our Heavenly Father, Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside services will be Monday, January 8th at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart under the care of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home. Carol died peacefully in her sleep attended by her family. She was born September 18, 1947 in Palestine, Texas. She, along with her blunt honesty and loving manner, will be very much missed by her family. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Gertrude Parker, Johnny and Jimmy Parker, Helen Thomas, and Rickie Wallace. She is survived by her soul-mate and husband of 35 years, Robert Nelson Henderson. She married Bob on September 3, 1983 one of the most significant and joyous days of her life. She is also survived by her children: Janet Delynn Rials, Kimberly Rials Hillman, James Mitchell Rials, Robert Clark Henderson, Robin Henderson Leveridge and Shawn Rials Duke. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Vickie Parker of Longview, TX and one brother, Roger Parker of Elkhart, TX.
Carol grew up in Elkhart, Texas, and attended Elkhart High School. She had many joys in life which included her husband, children, grand-children, pets, watching sports, traveling, and hearing a good story. She spent many afternoons urging Tiger Woods to win his golf tournaments. Carol also had a private, but significant relationship with the Lord.
