Services for Cynthia Vee Clark, age 65, of Elkhart will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Rev. Chuck Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Pyle Prairie Cemetery near Kemp. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Cynthia Vee Clark a longtime resident of Elkhart, TX. while at home with family, broke her earthbound chains and went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 20, 2017, after longtime illnesses. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 17, 1951. She was adopted by her parents John and Juanita Carrier. Growing up in Florida, she would attend anything possible at Stranahan High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Clark, Jr. She was a candy stripper, became the proud mother of three. She became a vet tech at Buckner Vet of Dallas, TX. She also worked at Elkhart schools for several years. She became a very beloved grandmother of nine and later a great grandmother. At 4'11" her most beloved title was Big NaNa, and loved by many. Cynthia loved good food, socializing, gardening, and was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed being with friends, grandbabies, and spending time with her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Clark, Jr., parents John and Juanita Carrier, and sister, Lorie Lieske. She is survived by daughter Lucinda and son-in-law Tony Washington, daughter, Lynette Clark, and son Ralph Kenneth Clark, III, grandchildren, Misty, Amber, Gerri, Heather, Stephen, Dana, Brandon, Bobby and Payton, great grandchildren, Arabella, Kiaya, Mason, Damiana, Gracie, Daniella, Adan, Tony and Hayden.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 26, 2017, at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, 207 S. Magnolia, Palestine, TX. 75801.
