Debra Lynn Hamby Graveside services for Debra Lynn Hamby, 65 of Elkhart, will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 10, 2019, in Crawford Cemetery, with Rev. Davy Hobson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Palestine.
Mrs. Hamby passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in Tyler. She was born April 25, 1953 in Alaska, to Junior Woody and Judy Foster Woody. After her mother passed away she was raised by Betty Jo Woody. She was a Correctional Officer for TDCJ, and loved to cook and sew.
Mrs. Hamby was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 29 years Travis R. Hamby, daughter Tamara Hamby, sons Travis Allen Hamby and wife Teresa and Douglas Ray Hamby, sisters Cheryle Darraugn, and Sheliah Woody, brothers Chuck Woody and Tony Woody, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Colton Hamby, Dillon Gilpin, William Hamby, Sean Johnson, Matthew Bowman and Christopher Hamby.
Condolence calls will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Travis, my heart is sadden by the passing of your life mate. She has passed over to a better place that we all will due in the course of time. Debbie’s, your’s and my paths have cross many times with over the years and have good memories of each passing, that always be in our hearts to be cherished till our time of passing over. Hold your head up and walk on.
