Services for Dwight Alfred Foster age 70 of Palestine will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Evangelistic Temple with Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. at Klondike Cemetery near Cooper, TX. Arrangements have been entrusted to and provided by Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Foster passed away Monday August 21, 2017 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born November 27, 1946 in Odessa, Texas to Robert and Nellie Wanderaas Foster. He was a member of the Evangelistic Temple and Oilfield Christian Fellowship. Dwight Foster was in oilfield sales for more than 30 years. He was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and devoted Christian. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, sports in general and bass fishing.
Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Shirley Little Foster. He is survived by his wife Beverly Hornbuckle Foster, son Randall D. Foster and wife Kim of San Antonio, daughter Nicole Cannon and husband Russell of Palestine and son Nathan Pritchett and wife Haley of Trenton, Ill., grandchildren, Chase Crader of Palestine, Jadyn A. Foster of San Antonio, Clayton Pritchett and Skylar Pritchett of Trenton, ILL.
Pallbearers will be Larry McCarty, Don Hood, Dennis Eubank, Wayne Smith, Lee Stringfield, John Trosclair, Toby Barnette and Richard Bolen.
