Everett James Miller


Everett James (E.J.) Miller, age 75, of Palestine left his earthly home on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born to John and Alice Miller in Texarkana on September 28, 1943. He graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana in 1962. He then attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from General Dynamics. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Neches.
He is survived by 3 sons, James Miller and wife Misty of Queen City, TX, Jeff Miller of Queen City, TX and Chad Miller and wife Stacy of Rowlett, TX; brother, Charles Miller and wife Debbie of Grand Prairie, TX; sister, Sandra Whitworth and husband Mike of Palestine, TX; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Neches on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00pm with Pastor David B. Dixon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Neches Building Fund, PO Box 189, Neches, TX 75779.
