Services for Hunter Gene Sheridan age 60, of Palestine will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Rev. Randall Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Sheridan died Wednesday at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. He was born July 6, 1956 in Palestine to Zack Sheridan and Lillie Ann (Thomas) Sheridan Fulford. Mr. Sheridan was a machinist for more than 20 years and a truck driver for the last 17 years. He loved his family, friends, fishing, hunting, music and all sports.
Mr. Sheridan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie Sheridan. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Soucek Sheridan, children Brandon and Tori Bennett, Robert and Linsy (Bennett) Anderson, Hunter Cole Sheridan, Kaleb and Katelyn (Sheridan) Peterson, a brother Billy Zack Sheridan, and sisters, Vicki Sheridan Kelly and Cari Fulford Mack, sister-in-law Carla Lott Sheridan, thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Fox, Chuck Sheridan, Donal Ross Sheridan, Rodney Butler, Robert Anderson, Kaleb Peterson, Stacy Murray, and Harold Thatcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cubstead, Billy Coleman, and Wayne Weir.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday before the service at Bailey & Foster Chapel.
