I knew John as a young girl and remember him as one of the sweetest fellows you could ever meet. John was playing and singing when I was 15 years old and I am going on 60 my next birthday. Just one stand up kind of human even as a young man. Looking at his obituary, it seems he never changed. Way to live a life is what I have to say!

To John's family... I knew. John for so many years, for my Mom Pauline Oliver felt that John and the Shiloh band was her band. He was a wonderful husband, Dad, and granddad as well as a friend to all. He was talented, funny, and a truly kind man and I am so very sorry for your loss. John will always be missed and never forgotten. I do believe him and Tom are playing music inside Heavens gates now. May he suffer no more and forever Rest In Peace...
