Memorial services for May Hoppers age 74 of Palestine will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday July 10, 2019 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Alex Lupo officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hoppers passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Palestine. She was born September 15, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Joe Hill Bradley and Mildred Rainey Bradley.
Mrs. Hoppers worked as a secretary and served on the Palestine City Council. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two sons Kelly Hoppers and Brody Hoppers and wife Kym, two brothers Bill Bradley and wife Susan, and Duffy Bradley, two granddaughters, Konner Hoppers and Kendall Hoppers, and her faithful canine companion Elvis.
In lieu of flowers and gifts since May was the primary care giver to her mentally disabled brother Duffy, a go fund me account has been set up in providing for his care.

To the family of May Hoppers, I am so sorry to about your lose. May Hoppers has been a client of mine for a long long time I have been doing her hair for years and I enjoyed talking to her every time she came in for her hair color we would talk for a couple of hours and she would always tell me all about her grandkids and children , she loved you all dearly, I’m sadden to know she’s gone, I will keep you all in my prayers🙏🏼🙏🏼
