Oliver Lee Kinson

Events

Oliver Lee Kinson was born May 20, 1958 to Oliver Jr. Kinson and Minnie Pearl Smith Kinson. Lee lived in the Palestine area his whole life and was loved and known by many. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2019.
Lee worked for many years as a driller in the oil field, oil field sales, and the last 7 years he worked for Palestine Oil and Lube. Lee was a man of few words, loved his home and family, and his wolf dogs. Everyone that knew Lee knew he loved to tease and harass you to make you laugh....then give you the "look" and smile like in the picture above.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Don "Donny" Kinson; sister, Cathy Kinson; first wife, Diana Kinson; brother-in-law, Bill Heron; brother-in-law, Bill May; and grandson, Alex Johnson.
He is survived by wife Kim; 2 sons, Chad Tenney of Palestine and Randall Johnson and wife Candy of Houston; 4 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Carol Kinson Heron of Eustace, Gloria Kinson May of Malakoff, Paula Kinson Bolt and husband Dennis of Mabank, Sharron Kinson Galliford and husband Bill of Kerens, and Shannon Kinson and partner Rick Cerrillo of Palestine; sister-in-law Nellie Kinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members.
Lee was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed by all! In accordance with Lee's wishes, there will be no services. Last modified:

I as many others will sorely miss this man. Moved from Los Angeles in 2012. Three years ago this man took me into his home. And from then on we became so close. I call him my brother with great pride. Lee, his parents and his siblings are the epitome of what a family is all about. Rest in peace my brother.
