Robert  Maddux


Sgt. Robert "Bobby" Lloyd Maddux, USMC, went home on April 6, 2019. He was born in Bryan, Texas on September 6, 1958. He was a life member of D.A.V., VFW and American Legion.
He was proud to serve his country as a United States Marine. He served from 1980 to 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Maddux, residing in Elkhart, Texas; their five children, T.J. Coburn and wife Cherie of Gainesville, Florida, Holland Coburn of Fort White, Florida, Angela "Angel" Morey and husband Justin of Brushy Creek, Texas, Mary Rivera and husband Angel of Elkhart, Texas, Jasmine N. Coburn and fiancé Zachereah "Zack" Traut of Palestine, Texas; his parents Robert McLendon Maddux and Marilyn Lloyd Oden of Houston, Michael Maddux and Mashell of Pearland, Texas, Steven Maddux and Tammy of Pearland, Texas, Dennis Maddux and Sharee of Friendswood, Texas, Rebecca Maddux of Houston, his aunt Delores Maddux Reed of Houston, numerous cousins, Starrs, Parkers, Maddux. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Nancy and family, Words cannot express how saddened I was to hear about Bobby. He always brought a little sunshine and humor to me at the library. (Didn't you win that game yet?) Prayers for peace, comfort, and God's healing hugs. My heartfelt condolences to you.
