Tina Marie Oxford

Events

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, Tina Marie Oxford went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Tina's life
of 77 years, as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and beautiful friend to so
many, was a blessing to all who knew her. Her dynamic personality and infectious laughter would
always make a day much brighter.
Tina was born on December 5, 1941 in Orange, TX and graduated at La Vega High School in Bellmead, TX. She continued her education by attending Trinity Valley College in Palestine, TX studying art, in addition to teaching some art classes. This propelled her passion and love for art with her many painting and drawing creations, which she would often give away as gifts to her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Terry Lain Oxford. She is survived by her
son and daughters, Darrell (Tina) Oxford of Palestine, TX, Danita (Mike) Morrison of Kingston,
WA, and Dalaina (Brent) Horton of Pinson, TN, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tina will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 1pm at
Grace Bible Church, 1390 Gardener Dr. (FM 315), Palestine, TX. A covered dish meal will follow.
If you wish to contribute in celebrating the life of Tina Marie Oxford, please consider the simple
act of making someone smile each day. For sharing and spreading the joy of living our Creator has gifted us with would be a beautiful way to honor Tina's love for life. God bless.
