Kenneth Dale Talbot, age 76, gently passed on November 19, 2016 at Dogwood Trails Memory Care Facility in Palestine, Texas. He was born on July 31, 1940 in Olustee, Oklahoma.
Mr. Talbot was a professional truck driver for over 43 years. Going by the C.B. handle "Butterbean", he delivered new cars all over the United States. As he drove along the lonely miles, he created a hobby finding tools, purses, wallets and of all things, Bibles. Amazingly, he was able to return several Bibles to their faithful owners.
He enjoyed collecting toy cars and trucks and his greatest passion was riding his beloved Harley Davidson around town. His best known talent was the ability to fix anything. He was a Master Mason at the Masonic Lodge in Palestine, Texas.
Mr. Talbot leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Marcella Kay Talbot, son; Tommy Dale Talbot, daughter; Monica Ann Talbot, granddaughters; Mandy Lynn Kelly and Misty Ann Kelly, great grandsons; Sean Dale Talbot, Issac Barboza and Marcello Barboza.
The family is sincerely thankful for Kindred of Home Hospice, 1750 Enterprise Street Athens, Texas 75751 and Dogwood Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care, 1625 Spring Street Palestine, Texas 75801 during this great time of need.
