Palestine, Texas - Charles Edwin Francis , age 84, of Palestine , Texas passed away on Saturday, the 12th day of July 2025, at TruCare Living Centers in Palestine. He was born the 31st day of December 1940in Rosenberg, Texas to parents Patrick Francis and Floy Mozelle Dresell Francis. Mr. Francis was avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also an excellent storyteller and loving provider for his family. He was dearly loved and will be sorley missed.

Mr. Francis is survived by his wife of 63 years June Cely Francis; daughters, Michelle McDougald and husband Gene and Suzette Makar and Rob; son, Drew Francis and wife Cindy; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, along with numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Pat and Mozelle Francis and brother Jerry Francis.
