Charles B. Reeves
A Memorial service for Charles B. Reeves will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Palestine, Texas. He was born September 18, 1930 in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
He was currently a resident of Palestine, and worked for the US Department of Agriculture. He was a Mason for over 50 years, belonging to the Homer #254 Huntington, Texas Chapter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Reeves passed away at the age of 89 on January 5, 2020 in Palestine.He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 plus years, Jane Nichols Reeves; parents James B.,and Iva Whitaker Reeves; sister, Joy R. Loomer; all of Lufkin, Texas and grandson William Cory Christian of Clinton, Ms.
Survivors include his two children, John C. Reeves of Palestine and Rebecca J. Reeves Christian of Clinton, Mississippi; brother, Kenneth Reeves of Lufkin; two grandchildren, Jennifer C. Miller of Smyrna, Georgia and Cameron C. Smith of New Albany, Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Edward Legett and Charles Legett of Smyrna, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
