Etoye Charlotte Seago Obituary

Slocum, Texas - Etoye was a strong woman, brave witness, and faithful servant of Christ. She became a Christian and was baptized at the age of 17 after being invited to church by a school friend. Through discipleship, she grew a love of studying and memorizing the Bible and telling others about Jesus. She began attending Jacksonville Bible College where she met and married Robert Seago. She served tirelessly as a pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, friend, children's minister, and special educator. For over 60 years, she diligently served the Church in more ways than can be counted. Now in the arms of Jesus, she continues to be a living testimony.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Seago; her stepson, John Hammock; her mother, Anna Mae Morgan; her father, Kenneth Morgan; and her stepmother, Betty Morgan.


She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Langrell and her husband Bricen of Sherwood, Arkansas, Tamela Kelsey and her husband Jason of Waxahachie, Texas, and Lavonne Hernandez and her husband Allan E. of Plano, Texas; her brothers, Quandel Morgan, Gordon Morgan, Joseph Morgan, and Brent Morgan; her grandchildren, Adam Langrell, Jonathan Huntress, Abby McCall, Taelor Weise, Rachel Huntress, Drake Davis, Anna Flores, Jacob Kelsey, Joey Kelsey, Allan L. Hernandez, Roberto Hernandez, and Samuel Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Audree, Aiden, Corbin, Rylan, Ryker, Bodhi, Harper, Carly, Audry, Jake, Rosie, and Dawson.
