Palestine, Texas - Services for Kenneth Ray Fairris, age 71, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home in Palestine with Dr. Ricky Webb officiating.

Kenneth was born on August 9, 1953, in Palestine, Texas to Fagan Bruce Fairris and Evelyn Conaway Fairris. He grew up in Palestine before moving to the Lufkin State Living Center where he lived for many years. He later resided in Corsicana until his death on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Kenneth was a joy to be around and made many friends everywhere he went. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and collected memorabilia. Kenneth also enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers play a good ball game. When he was younger, Kenneth loved going to church and grew up listening to gospel and country music. His favorite artist was George Strait.

Kenneth is survived by many loving cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fagan and Evelyn Fairris.

A special thanks to the staff at Legacy Rehabilitation in Corsicana and the Bristol Hospice for the loving care given to Kenneth.
