Temple, Texas - Robbie "Rusty" L. Davis, 84 of Temple, Texas went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Rusty was born on August 28, 1941, in Malakoff, Texas to Robbie L. and Johnsie Johnson Davis. He was a pioneer in the Texas swimming pool construction industry and the owner of Davis Pools.

Family meant everything to Rusty. He found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, integrity and quiet strength that lives on through his family. 
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Gayle Davis Houck and Lecil Davis McBride.

He is survived by his three sons: Russell Davis, Eric Davis and wife Shelli and Joshua Davis and wife Babett, two sisters Cynthia Davis Wright and husband Waymond and Jenni Davis Bridges and husband Robert. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Palestine, Texas with Rev. Michael Narron officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Malakoff, Texas. A visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
