Palestine, Texas - Steve Coleman, 72, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2025, at UT Health in Tyler.
Born and raised in the Palestine area, Steven carried the values of his East Texas roots throughout his life. He went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a degree in Petroleum Land Management — a field that shaped his professional life and reflected his deep connection to the land and industry of Texas.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Nevard and Samuel Ray Coleman.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Coleman; his son, Clint Coleman, and daughter-in-law, Racheal Coleman; and his grandchildren, Cash Coleman and Bailey Coleman. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Easton Branch, Hunter Jenkins and wife Joanna Jenkins, Hayden Jenkins, and Adrian Smith, as well as his great-grandson, Jett Jenkins, son of Hunter and Joanna.
Steve will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bailey and Foster Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Davis Cemetery located on FM 322, Palestine, Texas with Dan Manuel officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home.
